First and foremost, thank you so much for checking out my page! I am beyond excited to share my experiences and very thankful for everyone who has been following my journey thus far. This blog is about my life, my travels, lessons learned, laughs shared, and adventures of making my way in the Big City. My hope is that this blog encourages you and inspires others to dream as big as me.
And so let's begin... xoxo
While working in Costa Mesa, California, for three weeks, I had about eight hours to drive to San Diego and spend time in this coastal city, I had heard for years that this place was stunning, but this town exceeded my expectations. Here are some places you must visit in San Diego if you only have a day.
This beautiful hotel is a national landmark and totally worth exploring. The grounds back up right to the Pacific Ocean, and you can walk around the greenery and eat at the waterfront restaurant.
And if you are a Disney fan like me, you will notice that the Grand Floridian is influenced by this historic hotel. Could it feel more magical than that?!
This place is almost like entering another time period. The entire area is picturesque with local musicians playing, artist painting, and amazing food everywhere. There are plants and flowers all over the park, and you can spend hours walking around looking at the architecture of the gorgeous buildings.
La Jolla Cove is absolutely stunning. I could have spent all day sitting on the rocks overlooking the ocean and all the sun-basking seals. At the cove, there is a little shop that lets you climb down steps to a cave that opens right on the shore. Waterfront restaurants and cute little shops are everywhere, so it makes for a perfect day in the sun.
What are your favorite places in San Diego?!
